What are head lice?

It looks to be true that Black children have less chances to get lice infestation. This might be due to cultural reasons of high usage of oils and other products in the African-American population. It is currently known that it is due to a difference in the shape of their hair shaft.
How to prevent getting head lice?
To prevent yourself from getting lice, you have to follow these tips:
- Don’t share combs, hats and other hair accessories
- Avoid direct head contact with other people
- Be vigilant for head lice
- Use anti-lice products like, Permethrin lotion 1%, etc.
